Loving Upper Arlington Family Seeking Reliable, Long-Term Nanny
Start Date: September 2026
🏡 About the Family
A warm, busy family of five in Upper Arlington is searching for a dependable, nurturing nanny to become a true part of their extended family. They live on a quiet cul-de-sac across from a park; an ideal setting for outdoor adventures and everyday fun. Both parents are physicians with demanding schedules, which is why reliability is absolutely essential. They provide their schedule six months in advance and are incredibly organized about communication. Dad is hands-on and present; Mom grew up with a nanny herself and deeply values this role. She speaks highly and respectfully of caregivers and is genuinely heartbroken that their current nanny is moving on—they had hoped she'd stay until the kids reached high school.
This family treats their nanny as a genuine member of the family, not just an employee. They're warm, appreciative, and invested in building a long-term relationship with the right person.
They also have an ultra-friendly, high-energy dog who is cared for by dog walkers or goes to daycare—no pet care responsibilities for the nanny. Loving dogs is a bonus, but you must at least be comfortable with pets.
The Kids
6-year-old boy – A sweet, easygoing kindergartner who loves LEGOs, building, coloring, and playing outside. He's a natural helper and rule-follower with a gentle spirit.
3-year-old girl (turning 4) – A firecracker with endless personality! She's fearless, funny, whip-smart, and absolutely loves Trolls, princesses, glitter, and unicorns. She enjoys coloring, sticker books, gymnastics, soccer, and swimming. Attends part-time preschool year-round.
1-year-old boy – A happy, active little guy who's always laughing, running, and trying to kick a ball. Classic rough-and-tumble third child. Naps like a champ (2–3 hours daily). Will start part-time preschool in fall 2027.
These are genuinely happy, easy-to-be-around kids who respond beautifully to patient, loving guidance and gentle redirection.
