A warm and thoughtful family in Columbus is seeking a calm, experienced nanny to care for their young infant during an important transition period. This is a full-time, temporary role for a nanny who truly enjoys working with infants and values consistency, communication, and a structured yet responsive approach to care.
The family is very intentional in how they care for their baby and has already established a schedule that they would like the nanny to follow. Mom will be actively involved in the transition and will take time to walk the nanny through the baby’s routine to ensure everyone feels confident and supported.
While grandparents are currently in the home, they will not be actively involved in day-to-day care, so the nanny should feel confident stepping into a primary caregiving role.
The home is a bilingual environment (Mandarin and English), though there is no language requirement for the nanny.
🧸 Position Overview
This is a full-time, infant-focused role with consistent hours and the opportunity for overtime each week. The nanny will be responsible for maintaining the baby’s established schedule while also remaining attentive and responsive to the baby’s individual cues and needs.
This is a great opportunity for a nanny who is confident with infants, enjoys working within a routine, and appreciates clear communication and expectations from parents.
🗓 Schedule
Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Guaranteed full-time hours
Overtime each week
🍼 Key Responsibilities
Providing attentive, developmentally appropriate care for a young infant
Following and maintaining an established daily schedule
Supporting feeding, naps, and age-appropriate engagement
Responding to the baby’s cues with a calm, intuitive approach
Communicating consistently with parents
Light tidying related to the baby (bottles, feeding items, etc.)
🤝 Compensation & Benefits
Pay: $25–$30/hour (based on experience)
Overtime: Paid in accordance with legal requirements
Duration: Through September 4, 2026
Holidays Off: Includes major summer holidays (such as July 4th and Labor Day)
Time Off: No formal PTO due to the short-term nature of the role

Two-bedroom apartment
One dog in the home (must be pet-friendly)
Mom will lead onboarding and training for the baby’s routine
Position is available immediately due to a previous nanny falling through
